Swordburst 2 is a game published in 2017, the successor of Swordburst (formerly known as Sword Art Online: Burst) over 100M people have visited this game since it's release and it has, at the time of writing this review, about 3K people playing it. But is this player amount deserved? Let's find out!

If you join this game, you will notice you spawn in a world, holding a sword. The meaning of this game is to use this sword to kill mobs. You do this by clicking. You can also set a hotkey for a sword skill (which unlocks at level 22), sprinting, rolling and a blocking shield. The menu is accessible by pressing E on your keyboard or just pressing the menu button. At first, leveling up is extremely hard and will take a lot of effort because obviously, the starter bears at floor 1 give only 1 exp. But the more you progress (which is slow at first) the easier you will be able to kill mobs. Some mobs do drop cloaks, shields, swords and other things. Most of the swords and stuff you obtain by mobs are level restricted, which means you need a certain level to equip it. There's also stuff that do not require levels, these are often items that will regen your stamina or your health.

Not only do you progress in this game by just killing mobs, you can also fight a boss. There's a giant boss tower with quite a maze to be found in each floor, as well as a mini-boss which you can fight to get epic rewards. Every boss is hard to kill, so I recommend you take a party with you or a high level person.

There are 4 types of rarities in this game: Common, uncommon, rare and legendary. Obviously, common and uncommon items are easier to get than rare and legendary items, of which the last thing is mostly found on floor 9 and up. You can also get aura's in this game. An aura is nothing more than a customization feature, which allows you to wear a cool body aura or get an epic looking sword with the aura you equipped. Auras can be bought with robux, if you do not want to spent robux you can also buy auras from other players with in-game money.

Recently, the floor 11 update came out which makes this game have 11 floors now and I believe that the max level cap is above 200 so there's plenty reason to grind in this game. Almost all floors have been given a map update as they look more realistic now.

This game gives me Sword Art Online vibes, because of the mob killing and proceeding to other floors and stuff. And SAO is one of my favourite anime so I like the vibes I get from this game.

What I do dislike is that you sometimes do come across people who exploit. This is mostly in terms of raiding a full floor by killing all mobs before you can touch them so you won't get a reward. This is kind of annoying but not the developers fault. And leveling up just goes way to slow in the beginning.

Personally, I feel like Swordburst 2 deserves better in terms of players. For a game that's 3 years old at this point, it deserves so much more. It's a great game and you can either play it alone, with your friends or with other players in the game. There's always people who want to help you out or who want to give you items. And the fact that this game still gets it's updates 3 years after it's release, shows the love and dedication that these developers have for this game. I can't say anything else but how much respect I have for this development team. I'd rate this game with a solid 8.5/10. I'm going to continue playing this game for as long as it's still around, it's truly a piece of art!
