Build A Boat For Treasure

So for my first review of 2021, I decided to check out Build A Boat For Treasure, this game was made by Chillz Studios. It sounds exactly like the title, you build a boat and then you get treasure. But is that really what this game is about? Let's check it out!

I spawned and instantly got a tutorial, which is nice, because if you do not know a game or never played it before, you wanna know how it works! So the game kind of got explained to me, I walked to some sort of "baseplate" where I could start building my boat. I didn't have much bricks or material to build with so it wasn't really possible for me to instantly start making something amazing.

Of course, I already have played this game before so I know the basics a bit. But it's really simple, you build a boat with the materials you have and then you launch your boat. What happens next is that you basically get through some sort of obstacle course. Cause you see, you'll get through many obstacles before you reach the finish line. The further you get, the more gold you get in this game, and with gold, you can purchase crates and get even more materials, so this way, you can build bigger, better and more amazing boats!

I also took a look at the gamepass store and noticed there isn't that much gamepasses. There are only a few character gamepasses which only give you the character you purchased a gamepass for I assume, and then there's a gold multiplier gamepass, which gives you extra gold. So this game doesn't seem much like a pay to win, because if you build a decent boat, and you get to half of the map, you can already gain pretty much an epic crate which gives you many different materials. It's nice to see that there's roblox games that doesn't evolve about buying gamepasses in order to get better or in order to simply get an advantage over other players.

What I also really liked about this game is that there's so many possibilities, I haven't gotten that far into the game to obtain everything and get to the end, but I've seen so many people building amazing boats! I even saw a whole Christmas town being build as a boat and this person even got to the end with it. There's so much possible which is just amazing!

You can even invite your own friends and build on your team with your materials, so if you combine your materials and theirs, you can get so many epic boats and epic loot, it's very fun!

So my final point of this review is of course getting to my rating. This game, even though the concept seems simple and boring, is very addictive and fun! I suggest you check it out for yourself. I rate this game with a solid 9/10. It isn't the best roblox game, but it's fun and an entirely free to play game. It really has replay value, I'm honestly gonna come back to this game sometime to get further in the game and build more epic stuff, it's very fun and I don't regret checking it. There's so much possible in this game which is so amazing!
